Like a modern day Chet Baker, Swedish pop troubadour Jens Lekman loves to sing about heartache. Since releasing ‘Night Falls Over Kortedala’ in 2007, Jens has divided his time between his home in Gothenburg and Australia, having spent the majority of 2008 and 2009 living in the inner-city in Melbourne writing, recording, and playing the occasional show.

After a few practise backyard gigs in Melbourne and Sydney Jens is taking to the road again, heading to America for a New Years Eve ‘End Of The Decade’ performance in Chicago and then making his way to New Zealand for some solo shows and to support Spunk label mate Joanna Newsom at her concert in Christchurch.
