Having recently revealed first single ‘Cold Feet’, Jack Ladder will release his third record ‘Hurtsville’, the follow up to 2009′s Motown inspired Love Is Gone, on Fri June 10. Though recorded by familiar collaborator Burke Reid, this album sounds unlike anything we’ve heard from the Sydney musician, and reminds us of Died Pretty & 80s Melbourne - alive again with chiming guitars & droning synths. With his band The Dreamlanders, Ladder will perform two shows this May: on Fri 6 at Melbourne’s Workers Club & Fri 13 at Sydney’s Goodgod Smallclub. Tix to both on sale Thurs.
