I always like Splendour announcement day. Not going to Coachella or Fuji Rock suddenly feels fine when their lineups come to you in a beautiful big amphitheatre for a weekend of winter sunshine. This year, Mogwai will perform the only Australian show for their recent Hardcore Will Never Die But You Will, while The Middle East & Leader Cheetah return to the GW McLennan stage, both with brilliant new material.
