It was announced this week that The Lost Weekend Festival has been canceled. For those in and around Brisbane, Deerhoof have decided to put on a show at the Hi-Fi bar and band room on March 5 with Tenniscoats, Wooden Shjips and Jeffrey Lewis.
Deerhoof are playing tonight at The Corner Hotel in Melbourne, and in Sydney on Tuesday at Spectrum.

This morning Spunk received word that UK guitarist James Blackshaw has canceled his upcoming Australian tour due to illness.
James had been scheduled to perform the Lost Weekend Festival in Brisbane and at Raval in Surry Hills, Sydney this Sunday evening. Refunds will be available from point of purchase.
James is terribly disappointed and has extended his apologies to all.
One morning Emma Russack went down to the beach with a handy-cam. What resulted was Emma’s debut, self-directed video for By The Shore from her Spunk released E.P ‘Peasants’
