Released today is AA Bondy’s third record, Believers. The album has a real softness to it that is countered with pedal steel guitar and perfect drums – a great mix, which was recorded by Rob Schnapf – the co-producer of  Elliott Smith classic XO. Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s December Dates

They’re visiting Aus for the first time this summer, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra has just announced a handful of club dates in addition to their festival performances. They play Brisbane’s Alhambra Lounge on Sunday December 4, Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Wednesday December 7 and two Melbourne shows – at the Toff In Town on Thursday 8 & the Northcote Social Club on Saturday 10. They’ll be playing from their brilliant debut record, and tix to all shows are on sale now.

She & Him will release their first ever holiday album, A Very She & Him Christmas next month, featuring all the classics – ‘The Christmas Song’, ‘Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree’, ‘Silver Bells’ and ‘Christmas Day’, done in She & Him style. The band channeled the Christmas spirit over several studio sessions throughout the year, and move from warm M.Ward’s incredible acoustics to lush full band numbers on the album’s twelve songs. It’s out in Aus/NZ on Friday October 21.

The debut record from punk-rock supergroup, Wild Flag is out today.
