e4444e “Coldstream Road” released June 12

We welcome e4444e to the roster! Romy Church as his parents named him, today unveils stomping, propulsive indie-pop track, “Wolves.”
“Wolves for me is a little song that hints describing a lot of things and their motion in the world, trying to connect streams to things,” says Church“The song is short and little in its scope, like a fox or a simple sage. The truths are kind of dry and airy and the sounds float around them. Doesn’t go very far, doesn’t try to either.”
Hailing from Newcastle, Australia, the young multi-instrumentalist creates exploratory, electroacoustic, bedroom-pop that is instantly recognisable, with signature driving rhythms, textual soundscapes and raw vocals.
e4444e has self-released 3 x EPs and a handful of well-received singles, and has been compared to the likes of (Sandy) Alex G and Animal Collective. Church himself cites Pavement, Incredible String Band, Buck Meek (Big Thief), Michael Hurley and Arthur Russel among some of his biggest influences.
On the touring front, e4444e has cut his teeth supporting acts like Jens LekmanGUM, Body Type and Hatchie.
His debut album featuring “wolves” and the new single “wind nocturne” will be out June 12.
